Hi, I'm Emily!

And just like you, I want the highest quality food for my family.

I wasn't born a farmer, but an interest in healthy eating and a passion for cooking led me to start gardening in whatever space I had available. Eventually my husband and I quit our corporate jobs to begin a small farm where we grow the highest quality food, not only for our own family, but for our local community as well. We grow over 70 different crops ranging from root veggies and greens to classics like tomatoes and cucumbers.

Preparing meals with fresh, locally grown meat and produce is better for your health and results in the best tasting food. Yet I know it can be overwhelming when you come home from the farmer's market or in from the garden and feel overwhelmed knowing how to make the most of your fresh produce. I love to come alongside to help you learn how to not only better use your veggies during the season, but how to preserve them properly for you to enjoy all year long.

This is an essential course for anyone interested in food preservation.

"The thing that appeals to me most is that the course teaches us various methods, helps us understand them (why they work), and the pros and cons to each method. Emily gives us demonstration recipes for each technique and it's very helpful. I love using the new techniques I learned!"
